    I could not be happier with this rifle. I am hitting a 2X4 foot metal target at 300 yards at my local range using the iron sights. I added a Pachmyr vindicator grip, Harris Bipod w/adaptor, Troy industries BUIS, front grip, 1-point sling, sling adaptor, and flash supressor all from Troy. Better than M-4 models for my purposes. No problems with upper and lower being loose. Loyal customer to Colt and OEM products. Veteran.

    while it is a production rifle, if you expect more send it to the colt custom shop. i found that mine was very capable of 100yd 1/2 inch nail driving accurate rifle. pushed to 200yds it was only about a 3 inch group with 1 in 9 outside the group, all shots were with a bipod mount. one of my better tools in South America, I can't find better for money and quality.

    I conducted a break in procedure on my new MT6700C rifle using Lake City 55 grain factory new ammo. On the first 6 shots at 100 yards it had approximately an 18 inch spread. As I continued to shots 23, 24 and 25, it had tightened up to 3/4 of an inch 3 shot group. It stayed that tight up to shots ]6[ 30 through 35. I stopped the break in there. I was worried at first but I have done break-ins on several barrels and had similar results on some of them. Once I got to the last 6 rounds I was very pleased with the new rifle. This had all been done with the iron sights only. I can''t wait to scope it and see what it will do with some match ammo. It had no problems or malfunctions of any kind. This was all slow fire methodical shooting though with several cleanings in between. I especially like the recoil compensator on it. It was much more pleaseing to shoot off the bench than my 16 inch barreled carbines. Rangmstr
